Eirini Ntoutsi

Eirini Ntoutsi is a full professor and Chair of Open Source Intelligence at the University of the Bundeswehr (UniBwM) in Munich, Germany. Her research focuses in the areas of AI/ML and aims at creating intelligent machines that benefit society, with a particular emphasis on addressing real-world data challenges and harnessing generative creativity. Prior to joining UniBwM, Eirini was a full professor of Artificial Intelligence at the Free University Berlin and an associate professor of Intelligent Systems at the Leibniz University of Hannover. She completed her postdoc at LMU Munich, obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Piraeus, Athens, Greece, and holds master’s and diploma degrees in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras, Greece. She has received several awards and distinctions for her work, including the prestigious Humboldt Fellowship for postdoctoral research.
